"Spewing forth from Sheffield's furnaces and Nottingham's forests, Red Jester write & perform honest, carefree, ballsy rock songs with a fun, free spirited vibe, sometimes laced with a dark edge.

Deftly adulterating heavy rock leanings with a spurt of punk-rock vigour, whilst maintaining a keen balance between their muscular attack and use of melody, Red Jester fuse vaious musical influences and styles from such legends as Queen; AC/DC; Guns N Roses; Metallica; The Sex Pistols; Thin Lizzy; Oasis; The Kaiser Cheifs; Nirvana and Ugly Kid Joe. Having played alongside such top acts as The Buzzcocks, Marco Mendoza of Thin Lizzy & Whitesnake, and Tenpole Tudor, they play away caring not for societies fads, labels or brackets, and invite those who feel the same to join them in letting loose their own Devil may care spirit"

Starring as the lead role in many Sheffield shows before joining Red Jester, Jim draws on a wide variety of influences as he leads the Jester line.

Cousin to young England cricket starlet Joe Root, he's a keen sports fan himself and many years of playing football & tennis have helped keep his lungs conditioned for his current role (despite the 40 fag-a-day habit).

As a working-class rubbing rag, Dan realized that his strong yokal accent mean he could probably be understood better via an instrument, and ultimately lead to Red Jester.

A big fan of ballsy rock such as GnR & The Sex Pistols, he drives the band on with umphy, crunchy riffs and loves letting it out on stage.

Level headed and always smiling, Matt brings both an energy and superb solidity to Red Jester which helps things gel very nicely.

As fan of grunge and dirty-rock from bands such as Led Zep & AC/DC, he drives the lads on with pounding beats, and sexual rhythms.

The crazy bass lord Darren P Doddz brings all of his vast music theory to the band, along with stage moves developed from years studying martial arts too.

As a self-confessed bass-nerd and 80's metal fan, he's the band virtuoso and a tightly wound ball of energy ready to burst at any minute with a mighty "yeehaaaaaa!!!!!!"
